Louth Biodiversity Action Plan 2008-2012
Louth County Authority has developed a specific Louth Biodiversity Action Plan that spans from 2008 to 2012. This action plan aims to lead the way in sustainable development for the county, to raise awareness and appreciation of the local biodiversity, and ultimately to enhance the quality of life in the county.
Two of the key aspects of the Louth Biodiversity Action Plan to insure its success include:
1. the creation and protection of Local Biodiversity Areas
2. the integration of biodiversity and Local Authority activities.
A full draft of the Louth Biodiversity Action Plan 2008-2012 is available to download from the Louth Heritage website.
