Clara Library ENFOpoint
ENFOpoint for Greener Living at Clara Library
The ENFOpoint in Clara Library was officialy launched in December 2010 and seeks to provide enviromental information to adults and children in a number of different ways:
Free access to the ENFO website:
You can access the ENFO website for free using a dedicated PC in the library.
Anyone who has spent some time surfing the site (hosted by An Chomhairle Leabharlanna) cannot but be impressed by the amount of environmental information contained therein. Whatever environmental topic you’re looking for information about this gateway to online environmental resources is an excellent starting point.

o Information about individual counties in the County Focus section
o Environmental information especially for younger people
Other on-line environmental resources:
The ENFOpoint PC also contains links to Offaly County Council departments concerned with the environment and a selection of national environmental organisation websites.
The ENFOpoint has a dedicated area for information leaflets relating to environmental issues from Offaly County Council, ENFO and national organisations.
Topics covered include:
o Water conservation
o Energy conservation
o Our natural heritage
All of these leaflets are available free of charge.
