Events in North Tipperary from May 19th–29th

Dawn Chorus at Templemore Town Park on Saturday 19th May
at 5am with Tom Gallagher, Irish Wildlife Trust in
association with the Heritage Officer of North Tipperary
County Council
Come along and experience the rich early morning bird song
on this superb site. Walk will include folklore and facts on the
birds as well as other aspects of the Natural Heritage of the
Park. Meet at the Town Park car park at 5am.

Sean O’Farrell’s Farm
Biodiversity Day on May 20th in Sean O’Farrell’s Farm
Cloncannon. Meet at Gortagarry Village at 3pm. Growing in
stature every year this promises to be a great day out for all

Take the mystery out of Bats!
You are invited to partake in a Bat Walk/Talk on
Tuesday evening, 22nd May at 8pm at Ballina/
Killaloe. Starting with a talk in the Lakeside Hotel,
Ballina followed by a walk along the river at 8pm
(approx finish is 10.30pm)


Explore urban diversity Biodiversity

a Biodiversity walk around Nenagh Town at Friday,
May 25th at 7pm with Nuala Madigan. Walk
to commence from outside the Arts Centre, Banba Square, Nenagh.


Cloughjordan Eco Village
Cloughjordan Community Development Committee
will host a ‘Nature in Our Neighbourhood’ Walk on
Saturday 26th May at 3pm.
Meeting at ‘The Meadow’, Main Street, Cloughjordan at 3pm.
The walk will look at ‘hidden’ habitats in an urban setting.

Natural Heritage of Tipperary’s Uplands
Organised walk following the Knockalough Trail on
Sunday, 27th May at 12pm. The walk will be led by
Billy Clancy and Con Ryan among others and will take in
all aspects of the Natural Heritage of the Uplands.
Refreshments in the Community Centre following the walk.
