If you have visited Dublin recently, you will know that it is a big, bustling city. It seems to stretch as far as the eye can see. Dublin is made up of many neighbourhoods, each with its own charcter and history.
In 1912, a man called Weston St. John Joyce published a book called The Neighbourhood of Dublin. In this book, he described the city as he found it at that time. He also included local history and interesting stories about the different neighbourhoods he explored. Many of the stories recorded may have been otherwise forgotten.
