To owners of Property, Chief Tenants and Agents. -

As by the recent Act, the occupiers property, valued at and under £4 is exempt from the payment of Rate (where there is no Lease), and the immediate lessor is charged, proprietors are requested to send in lists to the Clerk of the Union at Ramelton of occupiers having more than one holding, which, in the aggregate, exceed £4, nett value; and also to send the names of small occupiers holding by lease. In default of such information being furnished the immediate lessor will be rated.
