The Irish Traditional Music Archive is a public multi-media reference archive and resource centre for the traditional song, instrumental music and dance of Ireland. Its collections consist of sound recordings, books, serials, sheet music, ballad sheets, photos, videos, etc. Its functions are the collection, preservation, organisation, and dissemination of material related to Irish traditional music by personal access; a phone, fax and letter query service; lectures; publication; exhibition; broadcasting; and a wide variety of partnerships.
