Carrick-On-Suir Heritage Centre

The heritage centre is located in a former Protestant church on the main street of town in what was part of a pre-reformation burial ground. Among the graves include that of an illegitimate son of Thomas, 10th Earl of Ormonde and Dorothea Herbert (1770-1829) daughter of the 18th century rector and author of "Retrospections." Local artefacts, photos and the Butler Church plate collection also feature while the centre also includes a tourist information centre.
