Mountmellick Museum

The Mountmellick Museum opened in October 2003. The main role of the Museum is conservation and exhibition of Mountmellick embroidery and preserving the history of the town's strong Quaker industrial past. The Museum is located beside the river Owenass which inspired the designs of the exhibited embroidery.
