Courtesy of Cork County CouncilCork has 1,200km of main channel rivers. Major rivers include the Bandon, Blackwater, Glashaboy and the Lee, all of which flow from west to east in direction. There are also approximately 2,000km of streams and many lakes in the county, the largest lakes being Carrigadrohid and Inniscarra. Inniscarra provides the largest source of drinking water in the county.
