| The Irish Climate Analysis and Research Unit (ICARUS) was established in order to improve our scientific understanding of climate change and its impacts, with particular emphasis on Ireland. It provides key climate services, solutions, data and advice to the scientific community, policy makers and community at large. |

| Flood Hazard Maps show information about places that may be at risk from flooding. They are responsible for showing reports, photographs, newspaper articles and other information about reported floods. They also provide the service of searching for flood information in any locality or region. |

| The Irish Flood Warning System will provide online warning of floods around the country. Currently a Flood Warning System for the Munster Blackwater is being developed. A live website has been designed so that water levels are updated approximately every two hours. |

| Ireland's climate can be tracked with the help of Met Éireann, the Irish National Meteorological Service. It is under the umbrella of the DOEHLG and is responsible for charting weather patterns and related services for Ireland. |
