KILLED AT THE FRONT.
We regret to learn that Mr. J. C. Ruttledge, manager here for the Rudge-Whitworth Co., has received official news that his brother-in-law, Mr. C. A. Burke, was killed in action on the 25th ult. in France. Mr. Burke who was for some time in Waterford, went to Toronto, and on the outbreak of the war enlisted and was with the Canadians through the heavy fighting in April. He had many very narrow escapes since going to the front, and our readers will be sorry to hear of the sad news received by his relatives.
