GALLANT BALLYBRICKEN MAN.

Private J. Mahoney, of Chapel Lane, Ballybricken, who joined the Regiment at the outbreak of the war has obtained a notification from Major-General Hickie, commanding the 16th Division, stating that he has read with pleasure the reports of the Regimental Commander regarding Private Mahoney's gallant conduct in the field during the year 1916, and that it has been ordered to enter his name in the record of the Irish Division.
