The badger has a grey coat with a white and black striped head. Badgers are great diggers.Their home consists of tunnels which lead underground to a main living chamber and smaller sleeping quarters.
Badgers, like hedgehogs, sleep during the day and emerge at night to search for food. Badgers eat almost anything, from rabbits and frogs to earthworms and beetles. So don’t throw rubbish on the ground as you don’t want badgers to eat it by a mistake!
