A Place In The Sun
In Ireland, we have a moderate climate. This means that the weather is not too hot or too cold.
When we are building a house, we try to place it to make the most of our sunshine and light. If you had the choice, you would have the kitchen and livingroom facing south and west. This would fill these rooms with sunshine and light from midday to sunset. Bedrooms would face east and would get the morning sun. You might not have any windows on the side facing north. Why do you think that might be?
