West Cork Libraries are holding their Bealtaine Art Trail again this year

West Cork Libraries are holding their Bealtaine Art Trail again this year and exhibitions of painting, drawing and felt-making are spread over libraries all around West Cork.The Bealtaine 2012 festivities which celebrate creativity as we age has the theme of 'What kind of old do you want to be?' The answer from West Cork is definitely active!

Energy, reflection and artistic talent are all on view in West Cork library branches over the month of May. Active retirement groups are displaying their work as well as the Art for an Active Mind group who work with the West Cork Arts Centre. Several branches are also showing work created by the Arts for Health Partnership which comprises Cork County Council, West Cork Arts Centre, the Health Service Executive and the West Cork Older People’s Network.
