Primary French Workshop, Tuesday 11 June at 10-11am

To celebrate ‘Libraries Help My Kid Learn Day’ Bunclody Library will host a fun, themed children’s language-learning workshop Down at the Farm’ with French teacher Rachel Moore. The workshop in simple beginners French is based around farm animals and habitats and is suitable for children in 5th / 6th class who will be starting French in secondary school. Cookery Demonstration, Thursday 20 June at 7-8pm

Local home economics teacher Marie Kirwan will give a cookery demonstration of economical, healthy catering for a Summer occasion. Get some new ideas and suggestions for easy-to-prepare food for a Summer garden party, birthday party, barbeque, picnic or other get-together. Research your family tree, Saturday 22 June, 10-30am-12.30pm

Introduction to Clothes Upcycling, Thursday 27 June at 7–8.30 pm

Learn how to upcycle old favourite clothes items into something different and ‘new’. Get some great ideas for a unique debs dress using vintage clothes. Aisling Noone will use examples of successfully upcycled clothes to show how it can be done. Prepare your CV & covering letter, Saturday 29 June at 10.45am – 12.45pm

Learn how to prepare a professional CV and covering letter for job applications. School-leavers and students looking for a summer job, or new graduates and more mature job applicants searching for something more long-term will benefit from a sharply presented new CV or a ‘make-over’ of their existing resumé. June story time & craft activity for preschoolers, Friday 14 June at 11.30am

Parents or carers are encouraged to bring pre-school children to the library to enjoy story time and some craft activity fun in Bunclody library. Booking essential.

·          Internet / Computer Classes for adults:   Tuesdays 11.30-12.30pm & Thursdays 2.30-3.30pm.

·          Adult Reading Circle  monthly meetings - next meeting Friday 7 June at 11am.

·          Junior Book Club monthly meetings - next meeting Thursday 27 June at 4pm.

·          Toddler Story Time meets weekly – Wednesdays at 11.30am.

·          Photographic collection on display is refreshed monthly, so call in to see another selection of the photographs taken in 2008 by David Snelling.
