Events ran throughout October

A wide and varied programme of childrens events were provided across Carlow Library Service to celebrate National Childrens Book festival 2013.

Events running throughout the month of October included:

• Author visits from Herbie Brennan, Liam Farrell and Joe OBrien
• Museum detective workshops provided by the Education unit of the National Museum of Ireland
• Life in the back garden with a live hedgehog hosted by Dale Treadwell
• Film Clubs
• Book review and trails
• Art workshops

Primary schools from all over County Carlow participated in these events in Borris, Bagenalstown, Tullow and Carlow Central branch libraries.
