Free lunchtime performance
If you are looking for a lunchtime date with a difference, then pencil 24th April into your little black book. The infamous Carlow Storytellers group will be giving a FREE lunchtime performance in the Shaw Room. Carlow Library on Tullow Street from 1-2pm. This session will be dedicated to the memory of the late Séamus O'Rourke, himself a well known storyteller and founding member of the Carlow Storytellers group. Bring your lunch with you, but don't be surprised if you don't have time to eat it, as the song and story, music and merriment might just keep you so entertained that you forget to munch the lunch. Local group member, John Hickey says we are delighted to team up with Carlow Library Service on this project and looking forward to welcoming old members and new to the FREE performance on the 24th April.
