The Library at IT Carlow is an integral part of the Institute and all of its campuses and it plays a central role in academic life. It supports the educational and research activities of the institution by providing a comprehensive information service. The Head of Library and Information Services reports to the Registrar and manages the library team and resources. As a key leader in the provision of learning resources to the Institutes students and faculty, the Head of Library and Information Services will drive the strategy for the ongoing development of the facility and resources in line with the Institutes Strategic Plan.

Qualifications & Experiential Requirement

Applicants should have an honours degree together with a postgraduate qualification in Librarianship or Information Science or an equivalent qualification, and have at least three years relevant experience.

Salary: €66,561 - €84,684 p.a.
