Vacancy: Archivist


Location: Dublin City Centre

A leading Professional Services Company based in Dublin City Centre, is looking for an experienced and qualified Archivist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a Junior Administrator and will report to the Facilities team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make the role their own as the successful candidate will have complete autonomy in this role. They will be responsible for maintaining budget costs, planning and implementing schedules and procedures, liaising with staff and teams across the company as well as contract staff and suppliers and managing projects as they arise. The overall objective of your role will be to drive and implement firm policy on archiving and to ensure statutory requirements and obligations are met.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of a Higher Diploma in Archives Studies or related Records Management qualification
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (2010) and Records Management Software
  • Experience in Project and People Management
  • Experience in a large commercial environment will strengthen your application
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint and Practice Management / Case Management software applications will strengthen your application
