Looking for a sister library? Meet the Municipal Library Frenstát pod Radhostem

Czech library has joined Naple Sister Libraries

The Municipal Library Frenstát pod Radhostem has 5 employees (4+director). They have a total of 70.000 books, audiovisual materials and 2,100 readers. Last year (2013) they had 90 programs for children and adults (Memory Training Courses, discussions with authors and readings, discussions with travelers, creative workshops, exhibitions of regional artists, etc.). It is located in the city center but they will be moving to a renovated building in 2015.

Frenstát pod Radhostem is a town in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It lies under the Moravian-Silesian Beskids Range, in a region rich in history and therefore the town is an important holiday resort in both summer and winter.

They are looking for a sister library, ideally one that wants to exchange experiences in work with children or adult readers. If you want to know more about them and what they are looking for, read their profile on the Naple Sister Libraries website.

With this new incorporation, the programme reaches 80 European public libraries participating!
