Mallow Town celebrates of the bicentenary of the birth of Thomas Davis
Cork County Library was honoured by a visit to Mallow Library by President Michael D. Higgins on Friday 28th December. The President visited Mallow to attend commemoration ceremonies of the bicentenary of the birth of Thomas Davis. Mallow Library hosted the reception following these ceremonies where the Acting County Librarian Eileen O’Brien and library staff had an opportunity to meet President Higgins.
