Job Vacancy: Library Assistant

Founded in 1788, the Linen Hall Library is unique. It is the oldest library in Belfast and the last subscription library in Ireland. The Library is renowned for its unrivalled Irish and Local Studies collections and is an independent and charitable body.

The Library wishes to appoint a Library Assistant, part-time, 2 days per week, NJC Pt. 14 £16,231 - Pt.17 £17, 372 (Pro Rata).  Duties will include assisting members and customers, issuing and discharging books, general library housekeeping, ticket and product sales (see job description for more information).
