LIBER is looking for a EU Projects Officer, based at our office in the National Library of The Netherlands. LIBER is involved in EU Projects in the areas of open access, copyright and text and data mining, digital heritage, research data management and research data infrastructures.
You will be joining a small and international team of highly motivated individuals and must be comfortable working both as part of a team and autonomously.
This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about issues relating to Open Science and research libraries and is seeking to build a solid foundation in this area, whilst also building on strong project management skills.
Terms and conditions of employment
This position is full time for a period of 1 year.
The post will be located in the LIBER Office in the National Library of the Netherlands in The Hague. Travel outside The Netherlands will be required. Out-of-hours working, including occasional weekends, will also be expected in association with conferences and meetings.

Salary
The salary will be on Scale 8: minimum 2,285.00 to maximum 3,061.00 gross per month full-time, plus a vacation allowance of 8% and a December allowance of 8.33%. You will be entitled to 42 days holiday per year. The Labour Agreement is based on the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Research Centres.
