Carlow County Council Library Service recently launched its Business, Enterprise and Employment support service.
This service is being developed and promoted as part of a national initiative to highlight all the supports and services that Carlow County Library Service have for business, enterprise and employment.
A range of services and supports are available including an extensive collection of business stock, employment and career books, online training, free wifi, access to printing , photocopying and much more.
Carlow Library Services fully recognises the importance of engaging with all relevant organisations and agencies involved in the areas of business and employment support in the county.
The launch was attended by Olwyn Grogan - Intreo, Karen Davis - Jobsclub , Anna Byrne- Carlow Local Enterprise Office, Josephine Coyne- County Librarian and Kathleen Holohan, Carlow County Council Chief Executive.
Intreo, Carlow Jobsclub and LEO are just some of the agencies who the library liaise with and refer to with a view to a more partnership approach to delivering services and supports.
