Laois County Library Local Studies Collection

The Laois County Library Local Studies Collection is located at the Library Headquarters in Kea-Lew Business Park in Portlaoise. The collection includes local newspapers, a comprehensive collection of published material on Co. Laois, an extensive photographic collection (including material from the Eason and Lawrence collections), historical maps of the Laois area, and other key primary sources such as Griffith’s Valuation and Tithe Applotment Books.
