Waterford City Archives holds the archives of Waterford City government from seventeenth century to the present. The records include minute books, maps, plans and drawings and leases dating back to the 1670s. The Archives also has an active accessions policy and acquires material relating to Waterford city and its environs. Collections held include school records, institutional records, photographic collections, private collections, business collections and other miscellaneous material. Access to the City Archives is by appointment.
