Irish Georgian Society

The Irish Georgian Society is a membership organisation whose purpose is to encourage the appreciation and conservation of Ireland's architectural heritage and decorative arts. The Society has an extensive members events series and, through its core programmes, aims to tackle practical conservation challenges, build knowledge, and spread best practice. The Irish Georgian Society has had a major impact on private owners and public policy and has played an essential role in the conservation of many fine houses and public buildings. The Society’s current President is Desmond FitzGerald, Knight of Glin.
