Edmund Rice Heritage Centre

The Edmund Rice Heritage Centre charts the life and times of Blessed Edmund Rice (1762-1844) founder of two Roman Catholic orders, the Christian Brothers and the Presentation Brothers. The exhibits recount life in Waterford in the 18th century and explain the activities of religious orders today. There is a recreation of a 19th century school room. The centerpiece is the tomb of Edmund Rice himself.
