                                 Submissions for a Bianconi themed Photographic Exhibition.

                             To celebrate the 225 year anniversary of the birth of Charles Bianconi.

        Clonmel Library invites you to submit a photograph to detail the huge contribution he made to the first ever integrated public transport system in Ireland in the first half of the nineteenth century. For example photographs of the stage posts/depots all over Ireland associated with Bianconi, his birthplace in Tregolo in Italy, his home in Clonmel, his final resting place in Boherlahan etc.

All the photographs submitted will form the basis of a touring exhibition which will be on display in branch libraries around Co Tipperary and in Tregolo in Italy.

How to submit a photograph 

This is open to all and by submitting a photograph the entrant gives permission to Clonmel Library to use the image in an exhibition or on a relevant website. All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. You must include your name, address and contact details and a brief outline of the picture e.g. location and date taken.

 Last date for receipt of entries is November 24th 2011                                   

        Photographs may be submitted electronically in a format which will give a high-resolution end-product to clonmel@tipperarylibraries.ie or alternatively, you can submit your picture(s) in hard copy or on a disc to Clonmel Library, Emmett St., Clonmel, Co Tipperary.
