Winter Stew

We loved this dish on a December day when we came in from school cold and wet. It filled us up and mother would have it ready for us and the best part there was only two pots to be washed. So we loved it even more.
I now make this stew for my own kids and they love it to.
Ingredients
1 lb of steak mince
1 onion
4 sticks of celery
2 carrot
Clove of garlic
Cup of peas
Salt and pepper
3oz of plain flour
2pts of beef stock
Method
- Chop onions, garlic, carrots and celery.
- Place a little rapessed oil in pan add onions, garlic when soft add steak mince cook until brown.
- Add seasoning, carrots and celery and mix well.
- Add in flour and cook for a minute or so.
- Turn down heat and stir in beef stock.
- Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add peas and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Serve with mash potatoes.
