The Book of Kells
An illuminated page from the Book of Kells with images of the four evangelists, the authors of the four gospels, inspired by Rev 4:7. St. Matthew is an angel, St. Mark is lion, St. Luke is an ox and St.John is an eagle representing the four creatures before the heavenly throne. The Book of Kells was created by Irish monks on the island of Iona off the coast of Scotland.

Risso's Dolphins showing pale colouration
Risso's dolphin (Grampus griseus) is the largest whale called 'dolphin'. It is typically 10 feet in length but can grow to as much as 14 feet and can weigh 300–500 kilograms (660–1,100 lb). The male of the species is usually larger than the female.

The Fin Whale (Balaenoptera physalus) is a large whale that can grow to more than 80 feet in length and can weigh as much as 70,000 kilograms (150,000 lb). Considered an endangered species they are protected by an international moratorium on whaling.

St. Mullin's Heritage Centre, situated in St. Mullins village which gets its name from the local saint, St. Moling (614-696). Located in an old Church Of Ireland church built in the early 19th century, the exhibition was completely upgraded in 2010.
