The shopfronts have changed little in the intervening years.Keane's pub on the right hand side of the postcard remains exactly the same. This street scene would have been familiar to Listowel writers John B.Keane who was born in 1928

Not a very common postcard for Killarney focusing on the old lanes which were once the busy heart of Killarney.The oldest lanes-Market Lane,Bothar Caol,and Glebe Lane-form a tight -knit group between Main St. and Plunkett St. This postcard is undated but was probably taken in the early 20th century.
