Gaeltacht
The Gaeltacht is the name for the areas where Irish is spoken as a first language. Gaeltacht areas cover parts of counties Donegal, Mayo, Galway, Kerry, Cork , Meath and Waterford. These unique areas are important for the Irish language and culture.
