Déantar cothaithigh an phlanda a stóráil i mbleibeanna faoi thalamh i rith an gheimhridh.
Bog Asphodel
This plant grows a yellowish star-shaped flower in July and August. Pointed and shaped like a sword, the leaves are bright green in spring, before turning orange and dying at the end of summer. Over the winter, the plant’s nutrients are stored in bulbs underground.
