Lackagh Museum And Heritage Park

The traditional thatch cottage which now contains the Lackagh Museum, once upon a time had fallen into ruin. However recently it has been restored to its former glory. The thatch roof was created in the traditional local manner and it is furnished with domestic artifacts replicating home life before the modern conveniences of the late 20th and  early 21st century. There is an open hearth, butter churns, dresser with delph, a flax wheel and other times. Outdoors are a range of period farm machinary.
