The sights, sounds and smells of the fairs and markets of Waterford have now all passed into history. The outdoor markets and fairs are no longer part of the every day life of the city.
However they are still recalled by Waterfordians with nostalgia Waterford has now become a modern vibrant twenty-first century city.
