  • Blanchardstown Through Time

Blanchardstown Brass Band has provided the music for many important events in the Dublin area throughout its existence.

This photo shows the band with Eamon de Valera at his last stand as President of Ireland at Dublin Castle on 20 May 1973.

This is an old photo of the band marching in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Blanchardstown in 1942.

Throughout its history, the band has welcomed invitations to play at many different events, including sports meetings, garden parties and religious processions.

Blanchardstown Brass Band continues to be successful and busy. It often takes part in band competitions. In May 2006, Fingal County Council presented the band with a crystal vase in honour of its 180th anniversary.
