Fin Whale
Most of the marine animals live in the open ocean. There are whales, dolphins, turtles and lots of different fish.
Some of these animals are dark on top and light underneath. This helps to hide them from other animals that are hunting. If they look at the animal from below, its light belly blends in with the sunlight. If they look at the animal from above, its dark back blends in with the deep, dark water.
Many plants live in the open ocean as well. There is lots of sunlight to help them make food.
