WATERFORD MEN I N THE CASUALTY LISTS.
The casualty lists during the past few days include many Waterford men. Private M. Hartery, who has been wounded, was well known in local sporting circles. He joined the Cadet Corps of the Royal Irish Regiment at the time of the special recruiting campaign here. A comerade of his wrote home stating that he had been killed but his relatives were much relieved at subsequently receiving official notification that he had been wounded and was in hospital. Other Waterford names published in Wednes- day's lists are the following privates in the Royal Irish Regiment who were wounded :-

Private T. Heaney (7506),
Private P. Keegan (6417),
Private R. Kiely (7491),
Private E. McCarthy (5823),
Private W. McGrath (7649),
Private P. Moloney (10669),
Private P. Power (3524),
Private M. Tobin (7588),
Private T. Cummins (11033),
and Lance Corporal M. Murphy (10524).
Private Keegan is son of Mr. Keegan formerly of William street. Private Heaney lived off Barrack street,. Private E. Eustace, Waterford, R.I. Regiment (7514) has been killed. His parents reside at Lady Lane.
